17世紀頃の大西洋で、海賊がさかんに暴れまわっていた頃の物語。 海賊は奪った宝をどこかの島に隠した。 宿屋の息子ジムは、偶然その宝島の地図を手に入れ、仲間たちと宝の発見に出帆した。 ジムたちの乗った船には海賊も混じっていた。 首領は一本足のシルバーだった。 やがて到着した宝島で、ジムの仲間と海賊たちとの激しい戦いが続いた。 絶望だと思われた頃、島に取り残されていたベンが現れた。 とうとうジムたちは宝物を発見することができた。
